I have officially been back to the office (part-time) since the beginning of this year, which means that I am getting dressed for the office again (yay!). Though my office dress code is very casual, I like to still dress business casual (most of the time) so that I am ready for any meetings, visitors and just so that I’m in the mindset of going to work. Plus, it just makes me feel good overall.
That being said, I am constantly on the hunt for workwear pieces that feel comfortable, look good and are appropriate for my office environment.
Loft is one of the places where I constantly get style inspiration for workwear so I did a little shopping and found some good pieces to add to my closet. Keep reading to see what I picked up and what I thought.
Note: Everything I purchased is true to size. I usually wear a size Medium in tops, 6 or 8 in bottoms and dresses.
The first piece in this haul is this top which runs true to size and pairs perfectly with black work pants. At first I though the material was going to be see through but it turns out it’s not and I really like how it looks and feels, especially for wearing during the summer. You can shop it HERE.
The next piece is another top. This time a gingham style, which I did not expect to like but it turned out I absolutely did. I love the cut and material and again, felt it was perfect for the office during these summer months. This one was also true to size. You can shop this top HERE.
Next I picked up a basic top which I loved. The material is super soft and the cut is perfect to wear to the office if I choose to not wear a cardigan. Again, I thought this one was going to be a bit see through but thankfully it wasn’t. As you can see in the picture, I paired it with gray work pants and basic black heels. 100 % recommend. Speaking of cardigans, I had to pick one up because let’s be real, the office is super cold during the summer and we need variety 😂. I really liked the color in this one and it was super light, also perfect for the summer weather. Shop it HERE.
Next, I had a good look at the dress section online and found this really cute dress, perfect to wear to the office. It has a slip underneath, the length is perfect and it’s super comfortable. Shop it HERE.
Finally, I had to pick up a non-work dress. This blue chambray dress is probably one of my top favorite pieces from the haul because it is super comfortable and airy for the hot summer days.
