Lauren Conrad Spring 2022 Clothing Haul

One of my favorite clothing lines is the LC Lauren Conrad line at Kohls. I really became a fan of her style when my good friend gifted me her style book. It seemed to me that it was so effortless and professional (both of which are important to me when it comes to style) so, needless to say, when she started her clothing line in partnership with Kohls I was very excited and have been a fan ever since. 

Recently I returned to the office a few times a week (post-quarantine) and felt the need to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe. Although I do work in an office setting, the dress code at my workplace is very casual so, as long as everything looks appropriate I can pretty much wear any type of clothing. 

For today’s blog I wanted to share (and review)  the pieces I picked up, in case you’d like to grab them for yourself.

Green Utility Jacket

The first piece is this green utility jacket. I am in LOVE with this jacket! I recently got rid of an old one I owned and needed to replace it and came across this one and it was perfect! What I love most about it is that it is 100% cotton and has a lot of stretch to it and isn’t so tight on the arms. Definitely would 100% recommend. I typically wear a size Medium but I sized up to a large to have some extra space and have definitely been loving it!

Lauren Conrad Cardigan

This next cardigan is also very cute but a bit warmer than the utility jacket above so, this one is a great addition to your wardrobe to wear on days where it’s more chilly. You can layer this with other long sleeve tops and no need to wear a big jacket for those 60 degree days. 

Vintage Super High Waisted Crop Jeans

Nowadays it is no longer about the skinny jeans so I wanted to branch out and try the straight-leg ankle length jeans and saw these and thought I’d give them a go, especially since I own a few other LC Lauren Conrad bottoms which I love. The consensus on this is that the leg is really wide (too wide for my taste) but the high waist is perfect and the material is actually not bad (not stiff but not super cotton-like stretchy), but overall, if these jeans were a little less wide (or if I was taller ?) I think they’d be perfect. But I do love the color BTW!

Tiered Maxi Dress

Ok, so I really wanted to like this dress. It’s so summery and the colors are beautiful but, I feel like it just doesn’t go with my body type. The material is great and it has a slip underneath which is also great but you’ll have to try it yourself to see if you’d like it. 

Lauren Conrad Blazer

I also picked up a blazer (because let’s face it, every working girl needs a few in their closets) lol. This one is great! I love the material, so light weight and the color is perfect for Spring.

BONUS: Women’s Nine West Long Cardigan

I actually forgot I picked this one up so I’ll just include it on this blog. This is a lightweight long cardigan perfect for the office (when they have the AC blasting ?) and you need a little something to cover your arms. I also picked it up on sale and it was less than $10 – – score!
