Happy Monday! I can’t believe that we’re in the middle of October. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably have heard me mention a few times that it’s been super hot here where I live and as much as I am a fall kind of girl, I have to accept it just isn’t here yet LOL so I’ve been living vicariously through other people’s posts about how it’s so fresh and cool where they live ?
One of my favorite staple items that I feel I can wear all year long is a jean jacket. I feel that this piece is so versatile that you can dress it up or dress it down and it can either be really warm or just lightweight enough. So, for today’s blog post I thought I’d share two ways to style a jean jacket if you live in a place like mine where fall isn’t quite there yet. P.S. I’m also incorporating two new items that I recently got that I am ABSOLUTELY loving ?

The first way that I like to incorporate a jean jacket into my wardrobe is by pairing it with a dress. I recently bought this dress from JcPenney and I have been loving it! I’ve learned that fabric for me is very important. This specific dress is made of Rayon which is a very soft fabric that doesn’t get staticky or shrink. This is the perfect dress for those last summer days where it’s pretty warm during the day but can get chilly at night. My jean jacket is from Express– and I seriously love the fabric, color and feel.

The second way to wear a jean jacket is with a skirt. I’ve literally seen skirts all over Pinterest and Instagram and I’m here for it! This skirt I picked up from American Eagle and let me just say, I LOVE it! It’s the first skirt I have of it’s kind and I wish there were more prints so that I can buy more ? Again, I keep cool and if it gets chilly at night I just throw on my jacket and I’m good to go.
So, there you have it. Pull out those jean jackets from your closet and get ready to use them all year long because it’s that time of year ?
Thank you for reading this post!
See you next time.
XOXO
